[vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/4″][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text el_class=”panel outline”]In the 1960’s the Texas Legislature passed a bill to establish The University of Texas System School of Nursing at San Antonio in response to a nursing shortage.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/4″][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/4″][vc_single_image image=”413″ img_size=”full” el_class=”close”][vc_column_text el_class=”panel”]May<\/strong> – Dr. Greta Styles became the first Dean of the School of Nursing and was also elected President of the American Nurses Association.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text el_class=”text-center bleed colorized colorized-theme roomy”]<\/p>\n
