Why did you choose UT Health San Antonio?

The reason I chose UT Health is because as a South Texan I knew that I wanted to be at a university that prepared me to serve in South Texas. The fact that UT Health is a preeminent university also helped sway my decision, and I feel fortunate to have been selected as a student.

How did UT Health help you?

UT Health prepared me well to serve my community by providing a facility and a faculty which are first-rate. The education and training were superb, and, as a result, I can deliver world-class dental care.

What was your most rewarding experience at UT Health?

The most rewarding experience at UT Health’s School of Dentistry is the training I received in the hospital-based General Practice Residency. It helped develop my skills and knowledge to help me become the best practitioner possible.

How are you giving back to UT Health?

I am giving back to UT Health by contributing to the graduate General Dentistry program and to the President’s Council. I have also given back by serving on the alumni board and by participating in other fundraising events.

What is your greatest professional achievement?

My greatest professional achievement is building a state-of-the-art practice from scratch where the focus has been to be the best in our field. I am most proud of the integrity I bring to my practice daily, the support and commitment I have cultivated from my team, and the quality of care we provide every day.
