A Message from Dr. Denise Woody-Gross, Alumni Council Chair

Dear fellow alumni,

I hope this Alumni Report e-newsletter for the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine finds you, your loved ones, and your patients doing well.

It has been an honor for me to serve as the Alumni Council chair for the medical school. The council continues to support alumni engagement efforts with our fellow graduates. I have found it so rewarding to get involved and network with alumni.

I would like to take this opportunity to ask you to consider getting involved. Here are some engagement options:

  • Completing the alumni survey to provide your feedback.
  • Saving the date for upcoming events.
  • Helping us schedule local events in your area.
  • Participating in mentoring

I urge you to become an active alum by joining in the exciting activities and opportunities this organization has to offer. There are a variety of ways you can show you appreciation for your education at UT Health while playing a part in the Long School of Medicine’s continued success. Your time and gifts are needed to help educate the next generation of health care leaders.

We would love to hear about your professional achievements, awards, recognitions, and career updates. Please email alumni@uthscsa.edu.

Best regards,

Denise Woody-Gross, MD, Class of 1994
