Dear faculty, staff, students, residents and fellows:

Updated today on the UT Health San Antonio COVID-19 webpage are specific instructions for faculty, staff, students and residents who are returning to UT Health San Antonio after travel in late February and March. Return to campus guidance is included for all travelers but, most importantly, those returning from areas considered by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) to be current “hot spots” (international and domestic) for COVID-19.

Also included on the webpage are important contact names and numbers; a list of typical COVID-19 symptoms; a 14-Day Symptom Monitoring Log; a guide to working from home (if required and approved); preventive actions to reduce your risk of contracting the virus and of transmission; guidance on hosting public meetings and events; and a link to the CDC website.

Please take a few minutes to review these important instructions and resources.

Thank you for the continued rigor to reduce the risk of transmission and spread of COVID-19 in our community.

With appreciation and respect,

William L. Henrich, M.D., MACP

President and Professor of Medicine
