10/16/20 | 8:45 a.m. | Updated Travel information for UT Health San Antonio as of October 2020

Data suggest travel increases the chance of getting and spreading COVID-19. As the holidays approach and more faculty, staff and students plan for possible travel to see family and friends, we at UT Health San Antonio want you to stay safe and remain mindful of the best behaviors to reduce the risk of contracting COVID-19.

As a reminder, when you return from traveling, please remember important safety protocols on campus:

  • Face masks are required at all times in all public spaces on campus. Always wear your mask when entering and leaving work area or building.
  • Stay home if you are feeling sick. Quick and easy COVID-19 testing has been established for you at Wellness 360. It’s essential that anyone with COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough, chills, change in taste or smell) stay home and contact the hotline at (210) 450-8000 for assistance.
  • Continue to be diligent with hand hygiene.
  • Observe 6-foot social distancing when in public.

These measures are in place so that we can lower the risk of coronavirus transmission on campus and help to ensure the safety of our campus community. We all have personal responsibility to comply and together, “We Can Stop the Spread”.
