She has over 20 years of experience working on fundraising initiatives at the University.\u00a0In her capacity as Assistant Vice President for the Office of Institutional Advancement, she oversees the Corporate and Foundation Relations area and manages a team focused on excellent stewardship and communication with our internal and external partners.\u00a0Sonia is responsible for the cultivation and solicitation to high-value private foundations and corporations on behalf of the University. She serves as the Institutional point of contact for internal partners including development leadership across all five schools, UT Health San Antonio Institutes, Centers and UT relations in South Texas.
