\"\"<\/strong>Mari Robinson JD<\/strong>: Director, UT System Virtual Health Network<\/p>\n

Mari Robinson is the Director of Telehealth with the University of Texas Medical Branch and in that role she is assisting with the roll out of the Virtual Health Network, a project to link all UT systems medical campuses to allow for the shared provision of telemedicine throughout the state.\u00a0 She is also the Director of the newly created Medical Technology Resource & Education Center (MTREC), which provides training and support in the area of medical technology. Prior to joining UTMB, she was Executive Director for the Texas Medical Board, and oversaw the agency responsible for regulating the practice of medicine in the state.\u00a0 In addition to the above, she presently serves as a committee member of the HHSC eHealth Advisory Committee, as well as a board member of the TexLa Telehealth Resource Center.<\/p>\n

\"\"Oliver Black:<\/strong> IT Expert, UT System Virtual Health Network<\/p>\n

Oliver Black, in the role of Senior Application Systems Analyst IV, is the technical lead with the Virtual Health Network (VHN) and is responsible for all technical aspects of the VHN.\u00a0 Prior to joining Health Innovations at UTMB, Oliver was with UTMB\u2019s Information Services Video Operations and has been involved in the various telemedicine projects at UTMB since initial testing and implementation in 1993.\u00a0 His skill set includes telemedicine technology, videoconferencing and audiovisual integration.\u00a0 He has provided technical skills to numerous projects at UTMB including implementing the telemedicine program with the National Science Foundation South Pole stations, cruise ships companies and what is now the Correctional Managed Care department at UTMB.\u00a0 He has designed and installed telemedicine systems throughout the world for different departments at UTMB as well.<\/p>\n

\"\"Margaret Adjei PharmD<\/strong>: Community Pharmacist<\/p>\n

Margaret Adjei received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) from St. Johns University Queens, New York. She currently works a Clinical community pharmacist with Astoria Pharmacy located inside the San Antonio AIDS Foundation (SAAF).<\/p>\n

\"\"Paula Winkler MEd<\/strong>: Director , South Central Area Health Education Center<\/p>\n

Paula is the Director of the South Central Area Health Education (AHEC) Center at UT Health San Antonio. She has her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Latin American Studies from Texas Tech University and a Masters of Education from Southern Methodist University. She is a bilingual, native Texan health educator with over 25 years\u2019 experience working with underserved communities in rural Illinois and south Texas. She has developed strong working relationships with physician practices across the vast 38 counties, primarily Hispanic, region of South Texas and with both rural and urban stakeholder groups that are county-based. Since 2008, the South Central AHEC has partnered with the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) Institute of the Integration of Medicine and Science (IIMS) to develop community engagement initiatives for the Health Science Center\u2019s Clinical Translation Science Award (CTSA). She participates as a Community Liaison to facilitate program connection to community-based stakeholders and organizations.<\/p>\n

\"RaudelRaudel Bobadilla<\/strong>\u00a0MPH<\/strong>: UT Health San Antonio, South Central AETC Program Manager, CHW\/various projects<\/p>\n

Raudel Bobadilla is a Community Outreach Coordinator and Community Health Worker (CHW) who serves as the CHW Coordinator for the TACKLE HIV\/HCV Project. He has built a strong skill set for engaging and partnering with communities, care-providers, and clinics to improve the population\u2019s health. In multiple projects, he has collaborated with community members, leaders, and organizations to connect the public to services and research opportunities. Mr. Bobadilla brings considerable experience as a Practice Facilitator and Case Manager for a CPRIT-funded grant to implement HCV screening and innovative treatment pathways within 18 clinics across 14 counties in South Texas. Through close collaboration with each clinic, Mr. Bobadilla, trains staff in program protocols, adapts the care model to the context of each site and serves as lead contact between clinic partners and the research team.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
