Workforce shortages, misinformation, and eroding trust between the public and the health workforce has highlighted the critical need for a community-partnership, resource-sharing, and mutual support.<\/p>\n<p>To support this, we are launching the <strong>Communicating COVID ECHO for CHWs<\/strong>\u00a0in partnership with <a href=\"https:\/\/currentcovidinfo.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Health Confianza<\/a>, a collaboration between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.texashumanities.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UT Health San Antonio<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.utsa.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UT San Antonio<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sanantonio.gov\/HEALTH\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">San Antonio Metropolitan Health District<\/a> to share relevant, usable information about COVID-19. with local providers.<\/p>\n<p>Sessions will be hosted by a team of experts in community health, health literacy, and infectious disease. Doing this is simple: just fill out our online case presentation form, join a session, and take a few minutes to talk us through the situation and your questions for the learning network.
