Bonny works in zoonosis control as an epidemiologist, working primarily with rabies, rickettsial diseases, Chagas and Lyme disease. Bonny has multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and books, primarily on rabies diagnostics, bat and skunk rabies, and flea-borne typhus.
