Assistant Clinical Professor – VA Based Hospitalist
The Division of General and Hospital Medicine in the Department of Medicine/Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio is recruiting for VA-based faculty positions commensurate to experience. This position involves clinical work on housestaff and non-housestaff services at The South Texas Veterans Health Care System, as well as participating in medical student education and other scholarly activities. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine, eligible for licensure by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners or any other state board, for certification by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration, and qualified for appointment at each appropriate faculty level.
Specialist – Hospitalist PAs or NPs
The Division of General and Hospital Medicine in the Department of Medicine/Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio is experiencing rapid growth in its clinical program, and is recruiting physician assistants and/or nurse practitioners. These positions involve clinical work on the general medicine inpatient non-housestaff services at University Hospital and will include weekends and evenings/nights. Previous inpatient service experience preferred. The relevant state licensure and DEA certification is required for these positions.
Associate Clinical Professor
The Division of Diabetes in the Department of Medicine/Joe R & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio is recruiting a board-certified endocrinologist with extensive experience in diabetes (both type 1 and type 2) management is being sought to provide diabetes care and management to a large diabetes practice in an academic setting. The endocrinologist must have familiarity with insulin pump therapy and continuous glucose monitoring. Participation in clinical trials is an asset.
