Case Competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.uthscsa.edu\/linc\/organizational-model\/linc-faculty-council\/co-curricular-ipe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINC Co-Curricular IPE Initiative<\/a> has organized an interprofessional case competition each spring since 2021. Designed to enhance students\u2019 communication and collaboration skills, this year\u2019s competition featured a <em><strong>FLASH!<\/strong><\/em> design. Interprofessional student teams were invited to identify a healthcare challenge common to South Central Texas and develop a creative and impactful interprofessional intervention as the solution. Teams submitted 5-minute video recordings detailing the problem they chose, interprofessional solution they proposed, and requisite budget to succeed.<\/p>\n<p>A record number of 30 teams entered the 2023 case competition! Each team consisted of 3-4 students representing at least two educational programs from at least two different schools.
