{"id":5881,"date":"2025-02-28T16:00:53","date_gmt":"2025-02-28T22:00:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp.uthscsa.edu\/linc\/?p=5881"},"modified":"2025-03-07T11:13:12","modified_gmt":"2025-03-07T17:13:12","slug":"announcing-new-leadership-opportunities-for-faculty","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wp.uthscsa.edu\/linc\/2025\/02\/28\/announcing-new-leadership-opportunities-for-faculty\/","title":{"rendered":"Announcing New Leadership Opportunities For Faculty"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]Having emerged as a <a href=\"https:\/\/news.uthscsa.edu\/ut-health-san-antonio-receives-award-for-innovation-in-interprofessional-education-and-collaboration\/?utm_source=Newsweaver&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_term=UT+Health+San+Antonio+receives+award+for+innovation+in+interprofessional+education+and+collaboration+&amp;utm_campaign=thisweek\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nationally recognized model<\/a> to advance interprofessional education (IPE) and successfully completed the first phase of our <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.uthscsa.edu\/linc\/qep-impact-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Quality Enhancement Plan<\/a>, we are in the process of preparing an organizational change to sustain high-impact educational programming while growing our research and scholarship footprints.<\/p>\n<p>To support this vision, we are recruiting an interprofessional mix of UT Health San Antonio faculty with a passion for IPE and team-based practice and research to serve in the following roles:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assistant Director to oversee educational programming<\/li>\n<li>Faculty leaders for the following educational programs\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/wp.uthscsa.edu\/linc\/activity-repository\/linc-common-ipe-experience\/\">LINC Common IPE Experience<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/wp.uthscsa.edu\/linc\/activity-repository\/linc-simulation-ipe-experience\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINC Simulation IPE Experience<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/wp.uthscsa.edu\/linc\/activity-repository\/linc-clinical-ipe-experience\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINC Clinical IPE Experience<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/wp.uthscsa.edu\/linc\/organizational-model\/linc-assessment-council\/linc-core-ipe-measurement-plan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINC Core IPE Measurement Plan<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Assistant Director to oversee research and scholarly activities, including leading the LINC Seed Grant Program<\/li>\n<li>Faculty members to serve on the LINC Research Council, a new community of practice-inspired group that will focus on developing funded IPE innovations to improve health and learning outcomes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have any questions about any of these roles, including anticipated time commitments and compensation, please contact Dr. Joseph Zorek, LINC Executive Director, at zorek@uthscsa.edu.<\/p>\n<p>If you would like to be considered for one of these roles within LINC, please e-mail an updated CV and a one-page letter of interest to LINC-QEP@uthscsa.edu.
