The Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility is a three-year program designed to qualify the candidate for advanced certification in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The Fellowship was first approved by the Subspecialty Board in 1977 and was recertified in 2012. The program is currently approved for a temporary increase in fellow complement to one fellow per year and plan to request a permanent increase to one fellow per year. The Director of the Fellowship is Dr. Winifred Mak.

The goal of the program is to train well-rounded clinician-scientists that are clinically and surgically competent, familiar with relevant laboratory procedures, and fully understanding of theoretical and technical aspects of research to enable independent study. Emphasis is placed on continuation of an academic career. Clinical, research, and teaching activities are given equal importance and fellows are provided opportunities to achieve their full potential in each area.
