Workshops are for all research faculty of all career levels who engage in mentoring relationships. Mentoring Masters\u00a0is adapted from the<a href=\"https:\/\/cimerproject.org\/entering-mentoring-training\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00a0CIMER Entering Mentoring<\/a> curriculum. The next available workshops are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tues. Mar 10 &amp; Thurs. Mar 12, 2026 <\/strong>(9:00 am &#8211; 1:00 pm, both days required)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tues. May 26 &amp; Thurs. May 28, 2026 <\/strong>(9:00 am &#8211; 1:00 pm, both days required)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fri. July 17, 2026<\/strong> (9:00 &#8211; 5:00 pm)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tues. Oct 27 &amp; Thurs. Oct 29, 2026 <\/strong>(9:00 am &#8211; 1:00 pm, both days required)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wed. Dec 16, 2026<\/strong> (9:00 &#8211; 5:00 pm)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text]<ul class=\"accordion \" data-accordion data-allow-all-closed=\"true\"><li class=\"accordion-item \" data-accordion-item><a href=\"#\" class=\"accordion-title\">Who is Mentoring Masters for?<\/a><div class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content><p>All faculty at UT Health San Antonio of all career stages who engage in a mentoring role. While topics of conversation centralize the formalized mentoring relationship seen in the trainer &#8211; trainee dyad (e.g., a graduate faculty advisor and the graduate student), skills are transferable and therefore, participation is open to all.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Trainee-focused mentoring workshops are available here:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/opa.uthscsa.edu\/current-postdocs\/developing-your-mentorship-skills\">Postdoc &#8211; mentoring workshops<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/uthscsa.edu\/biomedical-sciences\/student-life\/annual-events\/growing-mentors-workshop\">Graduate student &#8211; mentoring workshops<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/p><\/div><\/li><li class=\"accordion-item \" data-accordion-item><a href=\"#\" class=\"accordion-title\">What is the workshop format? Is this a lecture?<\/a><div class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content><p>The curriculum is designed to be driven by the participants through case study discussion, activities, and self-reflection. Facilitators introduce ideas to generate meaningful discussion amongst the group. No lectures here!<\/p><\/div><\/li><li class=\"accordion-item \" data-accordion-item><a href=\"#\" class=\"accordion-title\">Is there a virtual option?<\/a><div class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content><p>At this time, all workshops are solely available in-person. Please check back in the future for changes.<\/p><\/div><\/li><li class=\"accordion-item \" data-accordion-item><a href=\"#\" class=\"accordion-title\">Can I request a workshop for my department\/group?<\/a><div class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content><p>We are happy to take departmental requests.
