San Antonio is a multicultural city that captures the history and spirit of Texas. Now the seventh largest city in the United States, its location at the foot of the beautiful Texas Hill Country, cost of living, climate, and diverse restaurants, parks, museums, sports teams, and of course the River Walk, make San Antonio one of the most attractive and livable cities in the country. It is a city that has retained its sense of community, while conscientiously incorporating 21st century progressiveness.

The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, located in the northern suburbs of the city, and one of the 15 components in The University of Texas System, has established itself as a premier educational and research institution and one of the guiding lights leading San Antonio to its future.
