Foreign Language Anxiety Among International Students and Scholars at U.S. Universities,” presented by Konstancja Szymanska. Konstancja is the Assistant Director for International Recruitment, Partnership, and Engagement and is a 4th year PhD student in Educational Leadership and Administration at Florida Atlantic University. Her talk will focus on international students and scholars’ transition to U.S. universities, foreign language anxiety, and how institutions can help visiting students and scholars to acclimate to new environments. This presentation is connected to OIS’ new Cultural Intelligence (CQ) initiative, which focuses on how individuals assimilate to diverse cultural environments.
