Workshop – H-1B for Department Administrators

Please mark your calendar to join the OIS team for the H-1B workshop on Tuesday, December 10^th from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM. The OIS is offering the H-1B workshop for those new to the process and who have some basic experience.  We will discuss the policies and procedures for sponsoring an employee for an H-1B employment visa. We will explain the purpose of the H-1B visa, outline eligibility requirements, estimated costs, process and timeline, and discuss ongoing expectations and requirements of the departments and employees.

Special Note: The OIS will now require anyone submitting H-1B requests to have attended this workshop. Even if your department has not sponsored individuals in the past, we highly recommend that you attend, as this could come up at any time.
