ECFMG J-1 Physicians
The Educational Commission on Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) is the sole organization authorized to sponsor physicians in the Alien Physician exchange visitors category for clinical residencies and fellowships. At UT Health San Antonio, OIS serves as the Training Program Liaison with ECFMG and works closely with Graduate Medical Education (GME).
