Personal Statement:

She graduated from The University of Akron with an M.A. degree in Communication and an M.Ed degree in Higher Education Administration. She has been working in the field of international education since 2012. Before joining UT Health San Antonio, she was the Client Relationship Specialist at Envoy Global, where she assisted corporate HRs on nonimmigrant visa and immigrant visa processing. Jessie also served as the International Student and Scholar Advisor at Trinity University, where she managed non-immigrant visas specific to F-1, J-1 and H-1B’s.

Jessie is highly committed to international education, and has presented on various immigration topics at national and regional conferences as well as local forums/meetings.

She is originally from Guangzhou, China. Her hometown is famous for its friendly natural environments for flowers and other plants, so it is also called the Flower City.
