Laura Paprotta, MLA

Personal Statement:

Laura Paprotta is the Assistant Director of International Services at UT Health San Antonio and has over fifteen years of experience within the field of international education. Her experience has primarily been working with international students and scholars. Prior to Laura’s current role, she worked for Bergen Community College and Houston Baptist University. In addition to working in the field, she has also lived abroad in Germany. While working in New Jersey, she served as the Two-Year Institution Representative for NAFSA Region X during 2013-2014. At the present time, she is serving as an active member of the NAFSA Trainer Corps. Laura holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in marketing from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master of Liberal Arts from Houston Baptist University. Once off campus grounds, her focus reverts to her daughter. Her favorite TV shows are Frasier and How I Met Your Mother. Laura enjoys almost all things relating to being outdoors, getting crafty, gardening, and traveling. If you spot her down at the coast, there is a good chance she is fishing and anxiously waiting to catch the big one.
