Personal Statement:

Vanessa brings a wealth of experience and passion for international education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication and business Non-Profit from California State University, Channel Islands and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Lamar University. Prior to joining us, Vanessa served in various roles at the University of Houston, including SEVIS Compliance Coordinator, Designated School Official, and Assistant Director of International Admissions.

A proud native of Santa Monica, California, Vanessa is deeply committed to supporting international students and enriching our community. Outside of work, she enjoys discovering new coffee shops and going on outdoor adventures with her beloved fur babies.
