Type of Rotations & Missions<\/h2>\n

Global Health Education rotations and missions are an integral part of any residency or fellowship training, and UT Health San Antonio is proud to offer global health education elective rotations to its trainees.<\/p>\n

Clinical Rotation<\/h2>\n

A clinical rotation must be completed as part of the accredited training program, in collaboration with and under the supervision of a UT Health San Antonio faculty member and will be administered similarly to on-site elective rotations.<\/p>\n

Medical Mission<\/h2>\n

A medical mission is an offsite rotation that offers experiential expertise and fulfills the ACGME requirements. It is imperative that any interested resident or fellow consult with their Program Coordinator and Program Director prior to committing to a program.<\/p>\n
