[vc_row el_class=”far”][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]J-1\/J-2 visa holders must have a current DS-2019 that has been validated (signed) by an International Services Representative at OIS in order to re-enter the U.S. after a trip abroad. If it has not been validated within the last year, you must obtain this signature.\u00a0 Drop off your DS-2019 (including dependents if applicable) with the front desk in OIS and an International Services Representative will review your file and provide the validation within two business days.\u00a0 It is important that you submit your request at least two weeks prior to your intended date of travel. It is your responsibility to obtain the necessary travel documents (including a visa to visit a third country, if necessary).<\/p>\n

Once you do re-enter the U.S., please be sure to provide the OIS with your latest I-94 arrival record and visa (if applicable) for both you and any dependents.<\/p>\n
