Morning Conferences/Lectures

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, resident lectures on Monday and Friday mornings in the Department of Ophthalmology will be conducted virtually via MS Teams until further notice.

These lectures include the ophthalmology residency programs of Brook Army Medical Center and Wilford Hall Medical Center.

Grand Rounds

Ophthalmology Grand Rounds are not open to the public. Attendance is limited to:

  1. Faculty and Students of UT Health San Antonio
  2. The San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium (SAUSHEC)
  3. Adjunct faculty of the UT Health San Antonio Department of Ophthalmology
  4. Special invited guests of the UTHSA Department of Ophthalmology

Grand Rounds will be conducted virtually because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic until further notice.

Grands Rounds are at 7:00 AM and lectures follow at 8:00 AM.

The UT Health Science Center San Antonio School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.
