Led by our expert physicians, our active research program currently has several NIH funded research studies in progress, including studies in asthma, COPD, and severe pneumonia.

Clinical

The pulmonology practice of UT Health San Antonio is home to an expert team of board-certified pulmonologists, critical care specialists and subspecialists who are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to patients with pulmonary and critical care illnesses.

Education

The goal of the fellowship is to provide trainees with the experience of treating and managing patients suffering from a wide variety of pulmonary disease processes and life-threatening illnesses.

The mission of the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at UT Health San Antonio is to provide the highest quality of care to patients with pulmonary and critical care illnesses, through a commitment to comprehensive clinical services, technological innovation, and training the next generation of leaders in our sub-specialty. We are dedicated to advancing the care of patients through clinical and translational basic science research. Our Division is also committed to promoting evidence-based patient care, with many of our faculty being recognized both at a national and international level for their contributions and leadership.
