Membership Criteria
- Complete and submit an online application form.
- Members may be from UT Health San Antonio, Texas Biomed, Southwest Research Institute or UTSA campuses. Faculty may be on any track, research, tenure, service or clinical.
- Have a primary faculty appointment in a department, retaining full responsibility to that department.
- Associate members that are in training are also welcome to apply, including graduate students or post-doctoral fellows from either UTHSA, UTSA, or SWRI.
- Members should have an interest in the fields of genetics, modeling cancer development, study of cancer precursor tissues, genome-wide association studies, studying the function of genes/gene mutations associated with increased cancer risk.
- Members and prospective members should also be interested in seeking out collaborative publication and extramural funding opportunities.
