The flow cytometry core is hosting another exciting lunch-and-learn session on microfluidic sorter, this time by Miltenyi Biotec on June 27th. Their MACSQuant Tyto can sort up to 110,000 cells/s depending on the type of the cartridge and is very gentle on the cells. It also does not add extra volume to the sorted cells and you can take the whole sorted volume for downstream experiments without centrifugation.
