Daniel J Lodge, Ph.D.

Professor and Chair, Department of Pharmacology

Dan Lodge is Professor and Chair of Pharmacology and has been at UT Health since 2009. His research focuses on understanding the pathophysiology underlying psychiatric disorders with the goal of developing new and improved treatments for Schizophrenia, PTSD, and Alzheimer’s Disease. He was the Deputy Director of the neuroscience graduate program in the IBMS and he served on the admissions committee for ~15 years. Dr. Lodge is an enthusiastic mentor and received the 2022 Master Research Award as a Distinguished Mentor.
