Office of International Services hosted the Namibian Ambassador to the U.S.
On April 21st, the Office of International Services hosted the Namibian Ambassador to the U.S., Her Excellency Margaret Mensah-Williams, Ms. Petrina Nakale, from the Embassy of Namibia, Robert (Bob) Braubach, the Honorary Consul of Namibia in San Antonio, and Martha Henry, City of San Antonio International Relations. Also, in attendance were our very own Dr. Bluhm, Dr. Assanasen, Dr. Rosenfeld, and Dr. Wallisch. The visit was a delight and offered an opportunity to reconnect with our Namibian friends, and to revisit the Memorandum of Understanding between UT Health San Antonio and the University of Namibia. Wonderful collaboration on future exchanges and potential for healthcare exchange opportunities were discussed.
