Presentations at 2019 National Latinx Conference on HIV/HCV/SUD

Several TACKLE HIV/HCV team members presented at the 2019 National Latinx Conference on HIV/HCV/SUD held in San Antonio, Texas on May 17-19, 2019:

  • Waridibo Allison MBBS PhD, TACKLE HIV/HCV Program Director, shared findings from the program in a plenary presentation entitled: Hard Data: The Truths of Dual Diagnosis
  • Raudel Bobadilla BS CHW, Community Health Worker Coordinator, presented on the value of a Community Health Worker (CHW) in supporting patients in a presentation entitled: Role of CHW in HepCuring
  • Expert pharmacists on the HIV/HCV ECHO panel, Margaret Adjei PharmD and DeWayne Davidson PharmD, provided an introduction to current therapies for HCV in a presentation titled: Hepatitis C Medications
  • Julie Parish Johnson MS LCDC CRC, ECHO Coordinator/Facilitator, facilitated an HIV/HCV ECHO mock session to demonstrate the case-based telementoring model.
