Who We Are
Among the duties and responsibility of the division are the establishment and monitoring of policies that affect academic programs, academic initiatives, faculty appointments, promotions, tenure, and student life. The division also manages required and requested reporting submitted to The University of Texas System, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, the Legislative Budget Board, and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, in addition to other various external agencies.
The core areas under the Office of Academic, Faculty and Student Affairs are committed to making lives better for our faculty and learners so they can be successful in their academic and professional careers.
