UT Health San Antonio is now an ECHO Superhub!
In Fall 2021, UT Health San Antonio became an ECHO Superhub, a designation that allows us to train organizations in launching their own ECHOs. We are proud to support a model that transforms health by moving knowledge, not people. In October 2021, we hosted a Virtual Launch Event to celebrate this model of telementorship and lifelong learning.
Check out our Superhub Launch Event page to view presentations and materials from the event.
Program Spotlight: We are partnering with Health Confianza to launch Communicating COVID ECHO for Community Health Workers (CHWs). This ECHO series aims to build a learning community of CHWs, Promotores de Salud, and other health advocates to share resources, partnership, and strategies for compassionately and effectively communicating about COVID-19.
Program Spotlight: The COVID-19 Health Literacy ECHO is a space for providers to discuss strategies for addressing COVID-19 through the lens of health literacy. Case presentations can discuss patient management or operational challenges to delivering COVID-19 care in the clinic. Launched in collaboration with Health Confianza, this ECHO shares updated, relevant, and usable information about COVID-19 with local providers.
