UT Health San Antonio ECHO
UT Health San Antonio is now an ECHO Superhub!
In Fall 2021, UT Health San Antonio became an ECHO Superhub, a designation that allows us to train organizations in launching their own ECHOs. We are proud to support a model that transforms health by moving knowledge, not people. In October 2021, we hosted a Virtual Launch Event to celebrate this model of telementorship and lifelong learning.
Texas Developmental Screening and Surveillance (Tx DSS)
Program Spotlight: The Tx DSS ECHO connects subject matter experts and early childhood educators to increase their knowledge in developmental screening and early childhood intervention so that they can provide necessary care to children in their communities. UT Health San Antonio is partnering with the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) and experts in the field to implement this ECHO program.
Transgender Health
Program Spotlight: The Transgender Health ECHO will aim to address the Texas workforce gap and increase access to care for the transgender community. Additionally, we will strive to increase the knowledge of healthcare providers in management and treatment of gender-affirming care services. This series has been developed in partnership with the UT Health San Antonio AIDS Education and Training Center (AETC). Register through the UT Health San Antonio AETC.
