TxRx ECHO has three main goals:

  • Help providers learn more about buprenorphine treatment for OUD
  • Deliver information to providers on how to receive their DEA X-waiver to prescribe buprenorphine
  • Provide advice about starting buprenorphine treatment at their practice.

Be Well Texas MOUD Community of Practice ECHO uses web-conferencing to share best practices through didactic presentation and case-based learning. These sessions offer the opportunity to connect with Be Well Texas MOUD trainers and OUD treatment champions for advice about a variety of topics.

The Long School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Each session will be for 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM. MD’s and DO’s will receive a certificate of credit per the AMA (American Medical Association) requirements and all other attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.
