Changing Your Address with USCIS? Check that Edition Date!
Starting December 7, 2021, USCIS will only accept the Form AR-11, Alien’s Change of Address Card with the edition date of 08/31/2021 for those that choose to complete the paper-based form versus filing the update online. This will only apply to the paper-based version. The form edition date can be found at the bottom left corner of the form and its instructions.
The Office of International Services should be updated within 10 days of the change of address for the following:
- Scholars that hold, H-1B, O-1, or TN, should update our office by email after completing the Form AR-11.
- Enrolled F-1/J-1 students will update their address in My Student Center.
- Graduated students from UT Health San Antonio in F-1 status that are on OPT/STEM will update their address in the SEVP Portal.
- Any J-1 Exchange Visitor, J-1 Alien Physician sponsored by ECFMG, and F-1 OPT/STEM (sponsored institution is not UT Health San Antonio) will update their address in their record housed in the Scholar International Portal.
