The Institutional Handbook of Operating Policies (IHOP) contains official policies for the governance of the University. Schools, departments, and other university units may have additional policies and procedures specific to them and for which they are responsible for maintenance and communication. These unit-level policies must not conflict with IHOP policies; however, they may be more restrictive and are adopted in accordance with unit procedures by the designated university official, as applicable.
