Your Funds and other ways to get Banking Information

This email below has been confirmed as malicious or fraudulent by the Information Security department. If you have received this phishing email, do not open any attachments or follow the link(s) in the message; simply delete the email.

This type of email is attempting to persuade the receiver into giving banking information to the sender. This is similar to the email going around in the early 2000’s stating they are a Nigerien Prince. There is no agency compensating people for falling for a previous scam. Do not reply to any email stating there is money waiting for you and they need to figure out a way to transfer it to you. There are two examples below but there are many different ways scammers try to gain access to your banking information. Do not fall for these scams; delete the email.
