This email below has been confirmed as malicious or fraudulent by the Information Security department. If you have received this phishing email, do not open any attachments or follow the link(s) in the message; simply delete the email.This email tries to look like it is coming from the IT Help Desk, but anything coming from our Service Desk will be coming from IMS-ServiceDesk@uthscsa.edu. Another red flag is the idea that the email to share a document named Faculty Bonus would come from a help desk. The scammer uses the a Dean’s name to try to get people to respond quickly, and without giving the email too much thought. This was sent to numerous faculty members.
