This email below has been confirmed as malicious or fraudulent by the Information Security department. If you have received this phishing email, do not open any attachments or follow the link(s) in the message; simply delete the email.

The subject line will include today’s date is used to entice people to open the email as soon as they read the subject.

This is an attempt to gain your user password. The link will first have you confirm your current password and then ask you to create a new one. However, once you give them your current password, they will use it to access your account and whatever resources you have access to at UT HSA. They will also attempt to use it on a variety of other sites to see if you reused your username and password.

Please review the red flags below to help protect yourself from these Phishing attempts.

Red Flags
1. Greeting is just username.
2. Link isn't microsoft.com.
3. Using the term "Avoid interruption" creates urgency.
