This email below has been confirmed as malicious or fraudulent by the Information Security department. If you have received this phishing email, do not open any attachments or follow the link(s) in the message; simply delete the email.This is an attempt to gather personal information from the recipients.
1st Red Flag – The email is coming from France but it states the job is with the National Redcross. The American Red Cross is not called the National Redcross. Sometimes it is called the International Red Cross but a person looking to hire would not use the name National and would also know that Red and Cross are two words.
2nd Red Flag – The bad actors want the recipient to send their resumes to jobs@arc-careers.com. There are numerous companies using the name Arc and none of them are associated with the Red Cross.
3rd Red Flag – They asked the recipient to use their private email account to send the resume. Anyone sending email to a work address and asking you to reply using your private or personal email is gathering your personal information for nefarious reasons.
