Asset Works: User Password Expiration – Reminder
This email below has been confirmed as malicious or fraudulent by the Information Security department. If you have received this phishing email, do not open any attachments or follow the link(s) in the message; simply delete the email.This email originates from awsupport@assetworks.com, which is a legitimate Asset Works account. Asset Works is software development company whose products are used by UT Health San Antonio for fleet vehicles and the gas needed for them. However, due to the suspicious nature and recent proliferation of these emails to various faculty outside the fleet vehicle domain, we are suspicious that the Asset Works account may be compromised and is being used for malicious purposes. This cannot be confirmed, but as a precaution, we are advising that everyone treat any password expiration emails from Asset Works as spam and disregard them.
