  • It is always important to check to see if you know the person sending you the email. The External Email Notification is a good way to see who the email is actually coming from, since people can spoof the email address in the “From Field”.
  • The email greeting looks warm but it is a red flag that they might not know your name.
  • There are many spelling and grammatical errors.
  • The ATM VISA Card for $4.5 million dollars is meant to lure the recipient into their trap.
  • Someone asking for your personal information is always a red flag and should be scrutinized closely.
