PART-TIME JOB / PERSONAL ASSISTANT
This email below has been confirmed as malicious or fraudulent by the Information Security department. If you have received this phishing email, do not open any attachments or follow the link(s) in the message; simply delete the email.The part time job scams are becoming commonplace. They offer vague information about the job duties but promise flexibility, remote work, and a large hourly rate. In this one, if the person is working 20 hours a week, their hourly rate would be about $22. That is high for something that appears to have no need for any strong skills. The link will take the recipient to a Google form, belonging to the scammer, to collect personal information and, very likely, the social security number of the recipient. If you receive an email similar to this, you should delete it.
