Work-Study Opportunity – Personal Assistant Position Available
This email below has been confirmed as malicious or fraudulent by the Information Security department. If you have received this phishing email, do not open any attachments or follow the link(s) in the message; simply delete the email.Request to job seekers is a heavily used scam because jobs require you to give them a lot of personal information, including Birthdate, Social Security Number, and Address.
This email has a number of red flags:
- Generic greetings are a red flag because if they have your email address, they should also have your name.
- The introduction states, UT Health invites you to apply for the work, yet the email they want you to forward your resume to is a Gmail account.
- It asks for you to not use your school’s email to apply for a school sponsored work-study program.
- We don’t have a 2025 Job Board Trustees group.
