Important Message From School Microsoft Team
This email below has been confirmed as malicious or fraudulent by the Information Security department. If you have received this phishing email, do not open any attachments or follow the link(s) in the message; simply delete the email.There are a couple of red flags for this email.
- Anything coming from the university should be coming from a uthscsa.edu account and not a livemail account.
- Dr. Student is too generic.
- The line, “Please note that failure to submit the required information may result in a temporary suspension of your account until the update is completed”, is a threat to suspend your account if you do not supply the information.
- The link takes us to a site we don’t know.
- UT Health University is not our name.
