How can we bring the best minds together in a way that makes sense for everyone?

UT Health San Antonio Region Physician Network (RPN) is a wholly physician-owned and operated organization.  The RPN was established to improve healthcare delivery based on Accountable Care Organizations’ principles and purpose; the “triple aim” of improving patient experience, improving population health, and decreasing per capita healthcare costs.

At this time, the UT Health San Antonio Regional Physician Network only includes Family Medicine/Primary Care/Internal Medicine as Primary Care is critical for coordinating collaborative healthcare for optimized outcomes.  There are 75+ community providers and 850+ UT Health physician members in the Regional Physician Network which has over 17,000 Medicare lives.

Healthcare delivery is and continues to change although one thing is certain:  providers can no longer work in silos.  Changing regulations and reimbursement rates reward those who partner together.  We know a Primary Care Provider’s knowledge and experience are the perfect combination for our expert specialists, diagnostic teams, and researchers in South Texas.

We invite you to join us on a path to the future of medical care; where coordination of care and integrated networks bring value well beyond a visit or procedure, with better outcomes that are good for the patient, for the practice and the provider. All of our ACO physicians provide:  Access and availability, disease prevention, care coordination and patient engagement.

Patients have a choice to visit any of our non UT Health San Antonio community ACO providers throughout the San Antonio metro area or visit any of our UT Health San Antonio physicians. All of our ACO physicians provide:  Access and availability, disease prevention, care coordination and patient engagement.

The Regional Physician Network gives you access to 850+ UT Health San Antonio specialists while helping you improve care and cut costs in a rapidly-evolving health care landscape.
