Non-Academic Complaint Procedure for the Office of Educational Support Services

Procedure

1. Students can submit a non-academic, informal complaint about the Office of Educational Support Services online via email to montemayorj2@uthscsa.edu, by phone 210.450.3119 or in person at the Office of Educational Support Services,

2. The complaint will be logged in an excel spreadsheet kept by the director, recording the date, student Initials, summary of complaint and action taken. Students will receive correspondence from the director within ten (10) business days.

a. Complaints received by the Office of Educational Support Services not under the purview of the Office will be forwarded to the appropriate department, with this resolution communicated to the student within ten (10) business days.

3. If the student is not satisfied with the initial resolution, they may submit a formal written complaint within fifteen (15) days of the initial incident to the Vice President of Academic, Faculty and Student Affairs whose final decision will be communicated to the student within ten (10) business days.
