LINC Director Featured Guest on American Medical Association Podcast

Published by the American Medical Association, the AMA Journal of Ethics traverses ethical decisions in healthcare by highlighting different themes in each of its monthly issues. Ethics Talk, the journal’s adjoining podcast, releases monthly episodes featuring topical interviews with experts and leaders in healthcare and health professions education to offer additional context and perspective on each theme.

The May 2023 AMA Journal of Ethics special issue and Ethics Talk podcast are dedicated to interprofessional practice and education (IPE). Dr. Joseph Zorek, LINC Director and Associate Professor in the School of Nursing, served as the podcast’s featured guest to share his insights and expertise on a range of related issues, including the history of IPE, which professionals are included in IPE, and how effective interprofessional training increases patient safety.
