2023 LINC Interprofessional FLASH! Case Competition

The LINC Co-Curricular IPE Initiative has organized an interprofessional case competition each spring since 2021. Designed to enhance students’ communication and collaboration skills, this year’s competition featured a FLASH! design. Interprofessional student teams were invited to identify a healthcare challenge common to South Central Texas and develop a creative and impactful interprofessional intervention as the solution. Teams submitted 5-minute video recordings detailing the problem they chose, interprofessional solution they proposed, and requisite budget to succeed.

A record number of 30 teams entered the 2023 case competition! Each team consisted of 3-4 students representing at least two educational programs from at least two different schools. Thirteen teams advanced to the submission stage of the competition and four teams were identified as finalists by the following panel of judges.
