LINC Co-Authored Paper in Journal of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy Named Top Cited Article by Publisher

Dr. Joseph A. Zorek and Dr. Rebecca Moote were recently recognized for their scholarly work after their co-authored article, “Advancing clinical interprofessional education to prepare student pharmacists for interprofessional collaborative practice,” in the Journal of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy was named a 2025 Top-Cited Article by the publisher Wiley. The recognition is awarded to articles published in 2024 that achieved high citation impact, reflecting the national and international influence of the work within health professions education and practice communities.
Co-authored by a multi-institutional team of pharmacy education leaders from the University at Buffalo, The University of Texas at Austin, Purdue University, Indiana University, and the University of Texas at San Antonio Health Science Center, the paper highlights strategies to intentionally integrate interprofessional education into clinical practice environments to better prepare student pharmacists for team-based patient care.
