LINC Seed Grant Program
This IPE activity was supported by funding through the LINC Seed Grant Program in 2022.

Summary

The co-curricular activities were designed by dental and speech-language pathology faculty for learners and consisted of: 1) 1-hour self-paced virtual orientation 2) In-person Session 1: 90-minute session including learning on collaboration and exploration of the roles and responsibilities of respective professions 3) In-person Session 2: 120-minute session conducting a patient’s medical history, oral health examination, and diagnosis and treatment planning for individuals with SHCN. The Performance Assessment Communication and Teamwork (PACT) tool: pre- (67 questions) and post- (103 questions) self-assessment was administered to assess changes in collaboration and communication.
